Call for Submissions Femicide Volume XII on violence against women who speak out | UNSA Femicide Team
Articles in the twelfth volume of FEMICIDE will address the targeting or persecution of women involved in politics and the media, including those who speak out for their rights by reporting acts of violence and showing support for victims of gender-based violence.
The subtheme of this volume, “Living Victims of Femicide”, is a focus on orphans of women who are killed. This section of the publication is dedicated to Prof. Anna Costanza Baldry, the Italian psychologist, criminologist and academic researcher who dedicated most of her life to women suffering violence and abuse, and to the protection of femicide victims’ children.
- Articles should be 1,500-3,000 words long.
- As we will use a double blind peer review process, please do not write your name or affiliations in the main text. Please instead include a cover page with your name and a bio of 100-150 words on the author(s) and, if possible, a portrait.
- Preferred referencing style: footnotes and bibliography list at the end of the article.
- Font: Calibri, size 12.
- Tables, images or graphics can also be included and preferably should be submitted as separate files with references to them marked in the text.
The deadline to submit articles to the upcoming volume is October 1, 2019.
Please send all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Should you need further information, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
