The REDress Project

Art Installation
VAW

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The REDress Project is centred around the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women across Canada. The project uses art to create an aesthetic response to the national crisis, and has been featured in various public spaces in both Canada and the United States. The art pieces act as reminders of the unsettling number of Indigenous women who are no longer with us, as they aim to highlight the gendered and racialized motives behind these violent crimes.
