This document—available only in Spanish—precedes the 2019 Inter-American Model Law on the Prevention, Punishment and Eradication of the Gender-Related Killing of Women and Girls. Its aim is to provide a thorough analysis about femicide/feminicide laws in Latin America. The document provides an extensive theoretical framework together with a comprehensive regional research on the judiciary framework in the region.
