The article Invisible Police Lethal Violence against Black Women in the United States: An Intersectional Approach, by Janice Joseph, argues that black women who are killed by the police go unnoticed by the public. Recently there has been more media coverage regarding the killings of black men in the United States by the police. The article explains how black women face intersectionality when it comes to police violence. The combination of their race and gender has left them to be killed without consequence or media coverage.
