Mohammad Ibrahim Dariush was born in 1992 in the Badakhshan province of Afghanistan and has a master’s degree in sociology. He has more than ten years of experience as a gender studies researcher. He is a lecturer of gender studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Rana University, Afghanistan. He is a co-founder of the Gender Equality Research Institute in Afghanistan. He is the author of several books, such as An Introduction to Women Movements in Afghanistan after 2001 and Implementation of Transitional Justice in Afghanistan, and articles, such as “Typology of the Identity of the Women’s Movement in Afghanistan,” “Study of the Social Goals of the Women’s Movement in Afghanistan,” and “Examining the Glass Ceiling in Afghanistan’s Social.”
