Adriana Isabel López Padilla Tostado is a Mexican lawyer with an LLB in law from the Universidad Panamericana, a cum laude specialization in Advanced Social, Economic, and Political Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and an LLM in human rights from Columbia University. She worked as an adviser and a deputy director for the Mexican federal government, where she implemented public policy efforts on human rights violations and gender-based violence against women. At the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, she provided technical assistance to government authorities on the prevention, investigation, and sanction of gender-based violence against women in Mexico.
