Dr. Christiana Kouta is the co-coordinator of the European Observatory of Femicide (EOF) and is involved in the European Union-funded femicide project FEM-UnitED. She is also the scientific coordinator in the COST Action Femicide Across Europe.

Additionally, Dr. Kouta is the Head of the Master in Advance Nursing and Community Health and Care at the Cyprus University of Technology. She has authored two books, and has been published more than 40 times in peer-reviewed journals.
