Angelika Zecha is a graduate researcher at the Centre for the Study of Social and Legal Responses to Violence, University of Guelph. Angelika is involved in initiatives relating to femicide, including the Canadian Femicide Observatory for Justice and Accountability. Angelika also provides support to the UN Studies Association’s Feminicide Watch Platform. Angelika holds a master of public health from the University of Waterloo and a master of arts in criminology and criminal justice policy from the University of Guelph. Her research examines the role of firearms in Canadian homicides, with a particular focus on intimate partner homicides.
