Anna Kapushenko is a data journalist and editor-in-chief of the Kloop.kg news media based in Kyrgyzstan. Kloop.kg focuses on investigative and data research and covers important events in Kyrgyzstan on a daily basis. Several data materials by Anna Kapushenko, co-authored by Savia Hasanova, were featured in the tops of the International Journalists’ Network and the Global Investigative Journalism Network. In 2021, Anna and Savia’s material about femicide in Kyrgyzstan won the Sigma Awards.
