Helene Saadoun is a French Uruguayan lawyer currently based in Mexico City. She holds an LLB in law and foreign languages from the Université de Nantes and an LLM in international criminal law from the University of Sussex. She developed her professional career in the field of international cooperation and is specialised in gender-based violence and criminal justice. She worked as a specialist on security and justice at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, where she developed public policy and criminal investigation tools on gender-based violence against women in Mexico.
